The General Medical Commission Administration conducts physical examinations of civil service employees and performs medical examinations and issue medical certificates to:
- Prospective and current employees.
- Sick and injured employees, including signing sick leave forms.
- Non-Qataris coming to work and reside in the country.
- Applicants for Qatari citizenship.
- Non-Qatari males who wish to marry Qatari females.
- Driving license applicants.
- Students prior to attending or joining university or obtaining a scholarship.
- Any other groups that are legally required to receive a physical examination, excluding employees of the Ministries of Interior and Defence.
